Financial Aid for Underprivileged Schools
Underprivileged schools may be eligible for a reduction in activity costs or may have fees waived.
The school must meet the following eligibility criteria:
classification of the school in the 10th decile rank of one of the two poverty indices established annually by the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport, either the socioeconomic environment index or the poverty index based on low-income cut-offs (LICO);
maximum of two (2) classes per school each school year;
one (1) educational activity per class each school year;
a written request must be made to the Museum.

Please note that the number of classes that may have activity fees waived is limited. We will accept requests for funding from schools in the order they arrive until we reach our annual quota.
